Security

In today's market many houses sold though private treaty fall through as people can not obtain finance or their circumstances change. At a Pattinson Auction we collect a 5% reservation fee (buyers premium), which is non refundable and ties the buyer to you. Our fall through rate is less than 1%.

Speed

We undertake auctions in locations across the UK on a regular basis and the fact we hold physical auctions motivates buyers to view and offer as there is a perceived end date at which the property will sell. Once we agree a sale the buyer has 28 days to exchange contracts and a further 28 days to complete on a conditional format auction or exchange on the fall of the hammer and 28 days to complete on a unconditional format auction.
